"L" is for Longing for Spring

We live in Montana. Yes, it has warmed up, but no it has not stopped snowing. This is our view this morning. That is actually a glimpse at my mom's place next door. I know I am in the minority, but I do not mind waking up to all the snow. I like it actually and summer is my least favorite month of the year. Maybe being raised in Texas and all that heat warped me, I don't know.

But there are creatures in my home that are longing for spring. Mr Darcy does this regularly, just kinda hangs out of his kitty door, getting a breath of fresh air, but just can't bring himself to actually take a leap and go outside. He just hangs out like this for about five minutes, then pulls his head back inside and walks away from the door looking disgruntled. I think I am the only one in my house NOT longing for spring.

You have so much snow!! I'm not a high heat fan either! If it could stay 75 degrees in the summer, I'd be a happy camper! Cute photo of your cat at its little cat door. Do you find any animals try to come IN to the house by using that pet door? I have thought about getting one.
Thanks!

Spring has to have more meaning to those of you who live in the upper plain states. I would love some snow...for a day!

I'm with you Michele. Snow and cool weather is my favorite. Mr. Darcey's pic is so sweet. Like he might have a halo while looking through his door. Good L word!

M-NO! Her cat got a hummer?? Yikes.

I like snow ok, saw some blowing around here yesterday, but it's time to MOVE ON! A little green would go a long way right now...

I love the photo of your cat poking his head out the door! HA! I'm with Mr. Darcy on this one as I'm not a big fan of snow. I live in Ohio and all of our snow has finally disappeared--thank goodness! Give Mr. Darcy a scratch behind the ears for me and tell him I said hello. Hope you have a good day today. :)
